Description:
The Rosemount 848T Foundation Fieldbus Temperature Transmitter simplifies and reduces the cost of a plant's process control architecture. It replaces traditional temperature monitoring methods (wired direct, low cost single input transmitters, and multiplexers) with an intrinsically safe, eight input transmitter that mounts close to the process. The industry first Measurement Validation Diagnostic available on the Rosemount 848T Fieldbus transmitter provides insight into your process and can identify measurement abnormalities before they become a major issue, saving your time and money associated with process shutdowns and helping you run your process more efficiently. The 848T also comes with a new Device Dashboard, which gives users a clear view of everything needed to evaluate, diagnose, and configure the 848T. The new interface leverages Human Centered Design principles to create a streamlined, easy and efficient user experience, eliminating the complexities, and allowing the user to realize the benefits of FOUNDATION fieldbus.
